If you needed brain surgery, would you go to a proctologist? No. Probably not.
So if you’re selling your house in Kingston, why are you listing it with your cousin’s brother-in-law’s best friend, who just got his license in Mississauga?
That guy needs to gain local knowledge and network with local realtors. He needs access to our local MLS. He must learn about our local zoning bylaws, rules, and regulations.
Is it really in your best interest?
If you want to care for that person, suggest they refer you to a local realtor. That way, he gets paid a little for doing nothing but making an introduction. And your best interests are cared for by someone who knows this area.
Don’t go to a proctologist.
