It’s summer time, and we’ve finally had a couple of days in a row of perfect, sunny beach weather! We have gathered some info about lakes, water sports, and beaches in and around Kingston. You can choose the right spot for you next day off.

VisitKingston.ca has a list of 6 must-visit beaches and the best places to go paddling in the area.

CityOfKingston.ca has a list of parks, including the premiere parks and splash pads, and a link to relevant information with the current stage of the Ontario Roadmap to Re-opening.

For those further east, LeedsGrenville.com has a page on Paddling.

SouthEasternOntario.ca put together a handy Beginner’s Guide To Fishing post.

Naturally Lennox & Addington put together a great list of water activities and where to enjoy them in the region, and this fun video introduction:

And if you want to make sure the water is safe to go in before you pack up and head to the beach, KFLAPH.ca samples monthly and lists the beaches and status and what to check for when you’re there.
