In the last few weeks, we’ve been talking about the value of getting good advice from realtors both if you’re a seller or a buyer.
We had a great experience this week. Our buyers went and looked at a home and they asked what it was worth. So we looked at when those sellers purchased the home. What the market’s done since then and added value for upgrades that they’ve done recently like a metal roof. So we placed an offer.
On the other side, the sellers probably got the same advice from their realtor and they had a very realistic expectation. So they came back with a counteroffer that the buyers could live with. They accepted it.
It’s a conditional offer so they get the security of being able to get their financing confirmed and also to do a home inspection.
So good advice on the part of the sellers. We gave good advice on the part of the buyers and it’s a successful deal. You can do this too.
