I was at our listing on 2165 Rutledge Road. We just had about 20 realtors come through on the realtor caravan, and everybody was talking about the market and the fact that great homes listed at great prices are just sitting, and it’s because we feel like buyers are kind of damned up and sitting on the fence.
We know that some of them are waiting for the interest rate announcement next week on June 5th.
I heard Benjamin Tal from CIBC Talk, and he’s predicting that the Bank of Canada is going to drop the rate next week. And he said, if not in June, definitely in July.
